Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Biochemistry
Biochemistry explores the chemical processes within living organisms, focusing on biomolecules and their roles in cellular function and metabolism. Applications include enzyme mechanisms, metabolic pathways, molecular basis of diseases, drug development, and advancements in diagnostics, therapeutics, and bioengineering.
Cell and Molecular Biology
Cell and Molecular Biology investigates the structure, function, and interactions of cells and biomolecules to understand fundamental biological processes. Applications include gene regulation, cell signaling, molecular mechanisms of diseases, stem cell research, synthetic biology, and biotechnological advancements in drug discovery, regenerative medicine, and personalized therapy.
Biotechnology
Biotechnology applies biological systems and molecular techniques to develop innovative solutions in medicine, agriculture, and industry. Applications include biopharmaceuticals, gene therapy, regenerative medicine, industrial bioprocessing, bioinformatics-driven drug and vaccine discovery, food biotechnology, and sustainable bio-based production.
Genetics
Genetics explores the principles of heredity, gene function, and genetic variation in living organisms. Applications include genetic disease research, gene therapy, genome editing, personalized medicine, population genetics, and advancements in agriculture and evolutionary
Pharmaceutical Science and Pharmacology
Pharmaceutical Science and Pharmacology explore drug discovery, development, and therapeutic mechanisms to improve human health. Applications include novel drug formulation, targeted drug delivery systems, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics studies, biopharmaceuticals, toxicology assessments, and precision medicine for optimizing treatment efficacy and safety.
Food Science and Nutrition
Food Science and Nutrition focuses on the composition, safety, and health benefits of foods, integrating innovative approaches to enhance food quality and human well-being. Applications include functional food development, food product innovation, novel processing and preservation technologies, food safety and quality control, nutrient bioavailability studies, and the role of diet in disease prevention and health promotion.
